The morning the day my contractions started. She was not only available, but shared our excitement and gave us great strength and tranquility as we were able to progress with the labor from home. After several phone calls throughout the morning and early afternoon, we decided to meet at the hospital. I was only there a few short minutes before she arrived, ready to provide support, mentally, emotionally and physically. For the next 9 hours, Stephanie stayed by my side, talking me through the stages of labor, helping me focus, suggesting different positions to provide comfort, and most of all BELIEVING in me.
